Then privacy policy
Last updated November 6, 2026
Then keeps everything on your phone. It doesn't collect, send or share your data, and it has no way to: the app doesn't have permission to use the internet.
What Then stores
The tasks, decisions, tags, links, rules, reminders and history you create, and your settings. They're stored only in the app's private storage on your phone. Uninstalling Then, or clearing its data in Android's settings, deletes them.
What Then doesn't do
- No account or sign-in.
- No ads, analytics, tracking or crash reporting.
- No servers. Tirelo never receives your data.
Backups
- Export. Exporting saves your data as a file in a place you choose. The file is plain, unencrypted text and can contain personal information, so keep it somewhere you trust. If you save it to a cloud folder, that service's own privacy terms apply to the file.
- Restore. Restoring reads a file you pick and replaces what's on your phone. Nothing is sent anywhere.
- Android backup. Then's data is left out of Android's automatic cloud backup. It is copied only in a direct phone-to-phone transfer when you set up a new phone, if you choose to do one.
Permissions
- Notifications, so reminders you set can appear. Then asks the first time you add a reminder, and you can turn it off at any time in Android's settings.
- Run at startup, so reminders and the home-screen widget are set up again after your phone restarts.
If you add the widget to your home screen, it shows the titles of your next items there, where anyone looking at your screen can see them.
If you email us
If you send feedback by email, Tirelo receives your email address and whatever you include. It's used only to reply and to improve Then, never sold or shared, and deleted on request.
Children
Then collects no personal information from anyone, including children.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted here with a new date.
